How to choose a suitable LED display in stadiums?
1. Screen type:
Specific applications need to be considered. For example, in addition to indoor HD small screens, indoor stadiums (basketball stadiums, etc.) often have adjustable bucket screens. Several small bucket screens (which can be moved vertically) are shrunk into one large bucket screen, which can be used for various occasions (basketball hall, etc.) in the live broadcast of competitions
2. Screen protection
For indoor or outdoor led displays in stadiums, heat dissipation has always been a big problem for sports screens. Especially in the changeable climate of the outdoor screen, high flame retardant levels and protection levels are necessary. Generally speaking, IP65 protection grade and wire V0 flame retardant grade are better choices, including a cooling fan will be better.
Especially for outdoor sports events, a special and changeable climate environment should be considered. For example, coastal areas need to be tide-resistant, plateau areas need to be cold-resistant, and desert areas need to consider the issue of heat dissipation. In such areas, it is necessary to use screens with a high protection level.
3. Overall brightness contrast
The brightness of the outdoor sports display is higher than the indoor. But it’s not that the bigger the brightness is, the better. In terms of LED screens, brightness, contrast, and energy-saving effect need to be considered comprehensively. Selecting an LED display product with high energy efficiency design ensures safety, stability, and service life.
4. Selection of installation method
The installation position determines the installation mode of the LED display. When installing led displays in stadiums, it is necessary to consider whether the screens need to be placed on the ground, hung on the wall, or embedded in the wall, whether they support front and back maintenance and the difficulty of installation and maintenance.
5. Viewing distance
As an outdoor led display in the stadium, it is often necessary to consider the long-distance viewing of people, and generally, choose the display screen with a larger distance. P6 and P8 are the two common distances of the outdoor led display in the stadium.
