Four major mistakes in the purchase of full-color LED display

1. Purchase a full-color LED display, don’t just pay attention to price

Price may be an important factor affecting the sales of full-color LED displays. Although everyone knows the principle of you get what you pay for, they will unconsciously move closer to the low price when choosing the manufacturers of LED display. A huge price difference leads customers to neglect quality. But in the actual use process, it may be remembered that the price difference is actually the quality difference.

2. The “same model” of the led display is not necessarily the “same product”

In the sales process of full-color LED displays, I often met the customers and said, why is your price so much more expensive than others for the same type of led display. In an accidental opportunity, I found that the products of the same model mentioned by the customers are actually different. We take P4mm LED display as an example. Generally, P4mm LED display means that the pixel pitch is 4.0mm. But there is also a gap of 4.81mm in the market, which means that the pixel pitch is 4.81mm. For customers who have not bought or are not familiar with it, some salesmen call P4mm full-color LED displays. In this way, the price difference will be more obvious. Many customers who don’t know think they have bought a good product at a low price.

3. Specifications are not as high as possible

Generally, customers will select several manufacturers for evaluation when purchasing full-color LED displays, and then decide the suppliers of  LED screens. The most important two items in the evaluation process are price and technical specifications. In the case of similar prices, high-tech specifications become the winner. Many customers think that the higher the parameter value is, the better the quality of the led display will be.

Is that actually the case? Let’s take a simple example. It is also the indoor P4mm full-color led display, on the brightness of the led display. Some manufacturers can write 2000cd / m2, and some manufacturers can write 1200cd / m2. Is 2000 better than 1200? The answer is not necessarily. Because indoor LED screen brightness requirements are not high, generally between 800-1500. The brightness is too high, but it will affect the viewing. In terms of service life, it is easy to overdraw the service life of the led display in advance if the brightness is too high. Therefore, reasonable use of brightness is a positive solution. It’s not that the higher the brightness, the better. For the same model, there are also some parameters, such as LED lamp brand /encapsulation, scanning mode, power refresh rate, power consumption, gray level and so on. Different parameters and prices will not be the same.

4. Screen production and testing are not the shorter the better.

A lot of customers just place an order and want to get it right away. We understand it, but the LED screen is a customized product. At least 48 hours of testing and aging is required after production. LED display screen will increase 24 hours to 72 hours of the uninterrupted test in the national standard.

Generally, there are two problems when the delivery time is too short: first, the failure rate will be relatively high in the later stage without sufficient testing. However, some manufacturers do not have enough inventory of the same batch, so it is possible to use different batches of products in your order. In this way, the led display will have an obvious color difference, which greatly affects the display effect of LED display.
