Upgrade High-performance driver IC of LED display

Driving IC is a key component of led display, the performance of driving IC determines the effect of LED display, especially in the application of HD LED display.

To ensure the user’s comfort for a long time watching the screen, low-light and high grayscale become a particularly important standard to test the performance of driving IC.

Here are some upgrade models in testing, if they work well, we would replace old models with the upgraded one.

1. High integration

) MBI5359GB, which has been mass-produced, with grayscale 16bit, HDR and contrast ratio of 25000:1.

2) MBI5850, mainly used as theater screens, is suitable for products with a pixel pitch ≥P1.2mm and achieves grayscale 16bit, HDR contrast of 25000:1, these two are the only high-end IC capable of 16bit grayscale with 32 scans in the current industry.

3) MBI5759GB, Common cathode 48 channel integration MOS tube.

2. High refresh rate

1) 5153(less than 32 scans) now upgrade to 5253 to solve the coupling problem (it can be understood that refresh rate to 3840Hz, improves high contrast interference)

2) 5252 (less than 16 scans)

3) 5051 (less than 8 scans, large current) upgrade to 5251, add dynamic and static energy-saving Small current 5151

3. Basic model

1) 5124, with ghost elimination + double locking, now upgrade to high cost-performance version JXI5123GP.

2) Some basic models 5020 5026 5024 5023 all have the same function, just different current.

In addition, there are some special application products, such as 5034, 5038 / 39 to detect broke points.

Summary: 5153 upgrades to 5253, 5124 upgrades to 5123, MBI5353 can be replaced with MBI5359.
